Because of Corona, the city’s shops and shopping malls were closed for a long time. Now that the restrictions have been lifted, the city has been bustling again for a few weeks. Everything as before? Not quite. Hamburg’s shopping malls now offer Chimpy Powerbanks for rent. 

Standing there without battery or laboriously plugging your phone into a socket and waiting – those times are finally a thing of the past, even when you’re out shopping. Now you can rent a Chimpy Powerbank directly in the mall with just three clicks at one of our bright green Chimpy Stations and continue shopping worry-free.

Return anywhere

Simply scan the QR code at the Chimpy Station and pay cashless (PayPal, Google/Apple Pay, credit card). Registration is not necessary. Whether in the shopping centre, at the kiosk at a station or in the Schanze, the Chimpy Powerbank can be returned at all locations after use. The rental fee is 3 EUR + 15 EUR deposit. If the powerbank is returned within 30 minutes, the rental fee is only 1.50 EUR.
