Chimpy offers a simple powerbank rental service for people on the go. Customers grab a charged powerbank, keep their phone alive, and return it when they’re done.

In Switzerland, Chimpy is available in over 3,000 points of sale, where powerbanks are displayed in wooden racks on the counter next to the cash register.

Why this project?
Why this project?
We’re preparing a rollout in a new city and new convenience store environment, where nobody knows Chimpy yet.
That means:
The stores we’re designing for follow a clean, minimal retail concept, where a tidy, uncluttered look is key. Our current wooden racks don’t fit this aesthetic.
Customers must notice the product at the cash register.
It must be instantly clear that these are powerbanks for rent and not a typical impulse-buy product.
